I can officially say I have been to London, and let me tell you, it was fantastic. Yes, it rained a good 75-80% of the time. It's London, I wasn't expecting anything else.lol. Anyway, we left the Athens International Airport Thursday evening of November 19. The flight there wasn't bad at all. Once we arrived at the airport, the four of us who were staying together took a taxi (78 pounds was the costs!!!) to our hostel 50 minutes away. That was my first time ever staying in a hostel, so I was extremely nervous. It wasn't that great, but it had a bed, a bathroom, and free breakfast in the morning, so I survived. The guy in the bunk bed next to me kept singing...it was really starting to creep me out. Thankfully, two friends got in touch with a girl from LVC who had an empty flat that weekend, so we spent the last two nights with her. So much better. I really wish I had more time to write about everything from that weekend, but unfortunately, a research paper about the tragic Greek playwrights is calling my name. I could ignore it, but my grade depends on it. For now, look at pictures. Believe me, if I don't get this updated before I leave in a week (YAY!!!!), I will gladly share stories with anyone who asks. Miss you all and see you soon!
